Tuesday, 9/1/09 Report (Semi-Live)

Wow!! September 1st. . . Where did the summer go!!

So far today's fishing isn't great. Our first drift was the best of the day, and we haven't had more than a slow pick since. The wind was blowing out of the north pretty hard this morning, but it has diminished somewhat since. We will be setting up for the change of tide shortly. Hopefully we will get the bite with it.

Well, the change of tide bite never happened. It was a slow day overall, with mostly shorts caught. The pool winner was a 5 pound fluke caught by Jimmy Hughes.

Ryan Kellerman caught this keeper on his first fluke trip ever.
