Headed out this morning on the hunt for some weakfish. Made our way to the far western end of the bay and had some pretty good readings, but nothing bit. Saw some bird life a couple miles to the NE, so we decided to head after it. It was kind of skittish at first, but once the tide changed and we got some current, the bluefish bonanza was on!! We had fireball bluefishing for most of the day with cocktail sized fish. Made our way back into the channel to finish out the day, and caught a few weakfish to close it out. Overall it was a great day. Perfect weather and absolute excellent fishing!!
