Thursday, 8/13/09 Report

Today's fishing was great!! Even an east wind couldn't stop the fluke from eating. We read tons of bait all around the Reach Channel and plugged away at the fluke all day. High hook on the day was Doug Kay with 5 keepers. Two people were tied for runner up with 4 fish, and Jimmy Hughes won today's pool with a 6 pound fluke. Looks like things are coming to life in the bay to make the last few weeks of the season great. By the way, there are only 22 more day's left in the season.
