Headed to Sandy Hook to begin the day. We had outgoing water with a southwest breeze, making for some tangles and a little kaos, but once everyone was settled, we picked the fish good. Mostly shorts caught with an occasional keeper mixed in. Made our way to the Knoll around mid-day, but nothing doing. Finished up on the Reach with a good shot of fish. Bill Piller finished the day with the equivalent of a walk off homer by catching a 6 pound fluke to win the pool on the last drift.
