Friday, 6/6/08 Report
Today started with a bang!! The first fish of the day weighed in at just over 8 1/2 pounds caught by Joe Illuzzi, Edison, NJ. It was a good all around day along the Reach Channel. Drifting conditions were perfect and the fish wanted to feed. The keeper ratio was average with many undersized fluke and sea robins being caught, however the keepers we are seeing are very nice sized. Many 4 and 5 pounders being caught. Things on the fluke grounds are starting to shape up!!!!
