« Saturday's High Hook | Main | Sunday, 10/21/07 Report »
Started the morning fishing a couple of spots on the northeastern part of the bay. We had a lot of wind and rain overnight, and it seemed to impact the fishing. Had readings on the bottom, but nothing really bit. Gave up on the bay, and headed into the ocean, between the channels. Didn't catch much until the end of the flood tide. Once the current eased up, it was Porgy Gold!!! Very good fishing for the remainder of the trip. John Hannah won today's pool with a 3 pound Sea Bass, and Tim Dickerson was high hook with 25 Porgies. Everyone's favorite, Lupo, added a 31" Striped Bass caught on a Porgy rig. I was a little worried with how the day was going to turn out, but we finished strong.
