Porgy/Sea Bass Report

IMG_4703.JPG    Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I took a little vacation, and will be on top of my game for the rest of the Fall. Porgy fishing has been good. We have been fishing the northern part of the bay all the way to the Tin Can Grounds, and catching a lot of fish. We saw some very nice sized porgies this week. (Look at Lou in the photo holding those two beasts up!!) Still seeing some short fish, but we are also putting a lot in the buckets. High hook has averaged 30 to 50 porgies. We are seeing a number of Sea Bass too, however the majority of them are small. We do keep a half dozen a trip. This fishing will continue to improve as the water gets cooler.
