Sunday, 6/3/07 Report

Fishing was ok today, but not nearly as good as it has been. Made our first stop where we have had our best fishing the past few days, but after a few drifts the wind increased out of the southeast and made conditions very difficult for us to remain there. Moved to the Coast Guard Station and made a few drifts. Mostly short fish with an occasional keeper mixed in. Finished up the day just east of the Navy Pier, where we got a little shot of keepers to end the day. Like I said, it was an ok day. We probably saw more short fish today than we have on any other trip yet. The wind conditions did keep us from fishing where we have been, and as I write this report, it's blowing around 15 - 20 knots out of the east, so it doesn't look to good for tomorrow.
