Left the dock in a hurry this morning to catch the last bit of outgoing water. The wind was out of the west again, and once the tide changed, we would have no drift. Started in the middle of the Reach Channel where we saw all those bigger fish this past week, but the fish have moved from the channel. We did not see one fish. Made a move to a ledge just south of where we were fishing, and found a good body of fish. Super fishing for the last hour and a half of the tide. After the tide changed, the wind increased quite a bit. We made a few more drifts on the ledge, and then worked our way west to the flats around our buoy. We did catch a few here, but not enough for us to stay. Tried a couple of other spots in hopes of finding the larger fish that we were seeing, but the lack of drifting conditions made it impossible. We did have one person with their limit, and a few others with 5, and 6 fish. Steve Kerry was todays pool winner with a 3 pound Fluke.
