Today was a decent day on the water. Made our first drop outside our harbor. We caught 3 flounder pretty quick, but nothing else followed. Headed east to the Ammo Pier, where we spent the remainder of our day. We had outgoing tide, with a fairly hard west wing. Fishing was good. We had some good moments, and then we would wait for a while, and then get a little shot of them again. Some people did better than others. We had one person with his limit, and another with 9 fish. Then we had some people with 3 and 4 fish. Most of the fish were caught using mussels. We did catch a few on worms and clam, but it seemed that mussels were prefered. Todays pool winner was Joe Leschek, Edison, NJ. Joe ended the day with 9 fish.
